Hi, I’m Coco Rae, a passionate visual artist
navigating the diverse realms
of creating art and design.

While my roots lie in graphic design, where I honed my skills in branding and concept development, my creative spirit found expression in other art forms. Drawing has always been my solace, evolving into illustrating and later on in tattooing.
Since 2014, tattooing has been a significant chapter in my creative narrative and my main source of happiness.

However, it's a medium that occasionally imposes constraints on my creativity. The transition from paper to skin brings with it a unique set of challenges, which has shaped my understanding that not everything that’s feasible as a design seamlessly translates to the canvas of the human body. This realisation has fuelled my commitment to keeping graphic design and illustrating
as a vibrant business next to tattooing.

That is why Coco Rae Studio is a fusion of visual art that spans a multitude of directions – from creating a beautiful memory on the skin to crafting merchandise and branding or contributing artistic flair to album covers and books. My portfolio extends to making designs and artwork for birth announcements, wedding invitations, posters, and much more.

I believe in the power of visual storytelling to create memorable and impactful experiences, whether it's through ink on skin, illustrations on paper, or designs on a digital canvas.
